Despite the sanctions and debates in the EU about the "Nord stream-2", Alexela Terminal company extended the contract for services with the Russian petroleum corporation until 2020.

Stations located on the Russian-Estonian border and the terminal of Paldiski will be involved
in transit. It is planned to use them for transportation, storage and transhipment of oil products from railway tanks in the ship holds up to 315 000 tons per year.

It is important for Estonia to maintain partnership relations with the Corporation "Rosneft", as petrol prices in the country are constantly growing, not only because of increasing excise rates, but also because of the growth in world oil prices.
