Alibaba plans to invest in Estonian business

The Prime Minister of Estonia discussed possible cooperation with major Chinese trading platform at the world economic forum in Davos.

The Estonian delegation invited the heads of major international corporations, who was at the forum, to attend a digital summit, to be held in Tallinn in the autumn of 2018. The representatives of the world's most popular online store Alibaba were also invited. Business representatives plan to continue the discussion to use the platform for the sale of Estonian products and their promotion in the world. This will allow to attract additional investments for small local enterprises and make Estonian brands more recognizable.

In addition to Alibaba, the Estonian delegation held talks with Mitsubishi Motors company, which plans to increase the participation share in business projects at the domestic level and expand cooperation with technical universities to train future labor force.
