EstBAN, a team of Estonian "business angels" together with the partners from Norway, Denmark and Finland, is launching a new Nordic Angel training and investment program to raise awareness of interstate investments in existing and potential startups.

Under the program it is planned to train young "business angels" - private investors who invest their own funds in innovative projects in the early stages. The main share of investments is made in high-tech industries and IT-technologies. The program also involves joint work of both young and experienced investors, while the deal is less risky, that will allow to attract additional investments in new projects.

In addition, EstBAN Estonian investors offer start-up companies to apply for participation in the Nordic Angel contest. Following the results, several best projects will be selected, so they will be able to apply for a joint investment from Scandinavian and Baltic investors in the amount of up to 250,000 euros.
