Estonian entrepreneurs, together with the EAS investment fund, are actively increasing exports, including by entering the Middle East markets. This week Estonian companies take part in two of the largest expositions in their industry in the United Arab Emirates.

IDEX as one of the most important exhibitions on the world stage with military theme attracts developers in the field of robotics and security. The young Estonian company of defence industry Milrem Robotics presented its new developments in the field of remotely controlled vehicles. Some of the new projects presented at the Estonian stand by the manufacturers are initially aimed at using them in the Middle East, taking into account specific climate conditions, data transmission parameters, and so on.

In addition, Estonian companies are actively involved in the Gulfood food fair. Manufacturers of animal and vegetable oils, as well as infant formula with Halal certificate are represented here. For the UAE the food sector is of strategic importance, as the country's own resources are limited, so the EAS representatives plan to increase the activity of business projects in this direction.
