The pandemic has led to cuts at Tallink Grupp
Publishedо 3 September, 2020
One of the largest shipping companies operating in the Baltic sea, Tallink announced the upcoming large-scale reduction of employees in the divisions responsible for both passenger and cargo transportation.

The reason was quarantine restrictions related to coronavirus, which is expected to lead to a significant decrease in revenue in the tourism industry - in the second quarter of 2020 this figure was almost 60%. The volume of commercial cargo has also declined and is recovering very slowly.
