Export and import indices of Estonia increased in February 2017

According to the Statistics Department of Estonia, in February of the current year export of goods increased by 6% (to 975,9 million euros), and import grew by 1% (to 1,07 billion euros) in comparison with the same indices of the last year.

Products made in Estonia amounted to 75% of the total exports. The export growth was affected by the increase in supply of the mineral industry products to the Netherlands and mechanical equipment to Russia. The export of electrical appliances to China also increased, but in annual comparison, the export indices of this industry, as a whole, declined.


Finland, Germany, Sweden and Lithuania had the largest volumes of imports to Estonia in February 2017.
