Airport is one of the economic powerhouses

During the meeting of the members of Riigikogu’s Foreign Affairs Commision and the management of Tallinn airport a possibility to increase cargo turnover of the airport and number of business passenger transportations was discussed. The Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Commision expressed an opinion that decrease in economic investments is caused by insufficient organisation of business air transportation in Estonia.

In addition to the question of increasing the number of business passenger traffic, the growth in the volume of goods transported by air was discussed. This issue was brought to the agenda because in 2017 external trade of Estonia was considered by the Foreign Affairs Commision as one of the priority areas.
