Estonian carriers, as well as other EU countries, are getting used to the new requirements for organizing the working conditions of truckers. According to experts, these changes may lead to the bankruptcy of some companies in Eastern Europe.
The new rules focus on improving the quality of drivers' rest and reducing the time spent continuously in the car. To do this, employers will need to allocate an additional item of expenditure for paying for hotels, which will be critical for many carriers, especially in crisis.
