Estonia is rapidly losing tourists

Publishedо 12 March, 2021
According to the data published by the Estonian Statistics Department, the beginning of the new year was disastrous for the country's tourism industry. Due to quarantine restrictions, only 8% of the usual volume of foreign tourists came to the country.

According to experts, in connection with the introduction of the next package of measures since March 11, aimed at slowing the growth of the number of new cases, the recovery of this sector will be very slow. The resumption of free movement of EU residents can be expected no earlier than in autumn.
