Estonia accelerates vaccination rates

Publishedо 20 July, 2021
The opening of borders and the temporary easing of quarantine measures caused another wave of covid-19, which is gradually covering Estonia. In order to avoid another lockdown, the government is actively increasing the pace of vaccination.

An action plan for the establishment of temporary vaccination points in pharmacy chains has already been approved. This will help to become a vaccination more affordable, especially for people with impaired mobility. The launch of the project is scheduled for mid-August - pharmacies are recruiting medical personnel who have the right to inject.
