Exporters should carefully get acquainted with the new restrictions
Publishedо 3 March, 2023
The Estonian Tax and Customs Department asks European suppliers to carefully get acquainted with the new restrictions imposed by the European Union on Russia at the end of February. This is particularly true for the issue of transit in the supplies of goods to the countries of Asia and Transcaucasia.
Any products belonging to the group of dual-purpose goods can now be delivered to these regions either by air transport or by a detour route through Turkey and the Black Sea basin. At the same time, it is necessary to take into account the high level of seismic danger, which still persists in the south-east of Turkey.
Recall that in order to complete transactions executed earlier on February 26, the transportation of supplies through the territory of the Russian Federation is allowed until March 23.
