Fitch Ratings upgraded the credit rating of Tallinn to the level of A+

International rating agency Fitch Ratings positively assessed the creditworthiness of Tallinn, the Estonian capital city, its credit policy and upgraded the city's credit rating to the A+ level. Estonia as a state has the same credit rating.
Acting mayor of Tallinn, Mr Taavi Aas, said that the rating upgrade is a major compliment to the financial authorities of the city and that if they needed additional funds for the city development, Tallinn can take a loan on favorable terms.
Rating of Tallinn increased in comparison with April of this year, when Fitch Ratings rated the capital of Estonia last time.
