Russian novelties for Mitsubishi in Estonia

Rail state-owned company EVR Cargo will lease more than 60 modern platforms for transportation of Mitsubishi cargo containers.
MTF Logistics AS company, which provides logistics services to the Japanese conglomerate, will rent new platforms of Russian production, which Estonia purchased in 2017. This transaction was carried out as part of a large-scale project to update the equipment at the expense of public investments.
The use of new platforms will increase the volume of transported containers by almost three times, mostly they will run between the port of Muuga and Koidula station on the border of Estonia and Russia. Thanks to the new equipment Mitsubishi plans to significantly speed up the delivery of goods, including transit from China.
