Baltic States invest in each other's energy projects
Publishedо 4 September, 2018
Lietuvos Energija, one of the largest energy companies in the Baltic States, has completed negotiations with the Estonian startup Fusebox, which resulted in investing more than 50,000 euros in a new platform.

Allocation of the amounts necessary for the development was carried out by the special fund Lietuvos Energija, whose activities are related to the search and development of projects for the smart technologies introduction in the energy sector — Smart Energy.

The Estonian project Fusebox is a platform where consumers will play an active role and monitor the state of the electricity market. The system will allow energy-intensive companies to regulate the amount of energy used, including to reduce the level at the time of peak network loads. This will allow to balance the entire system of energy consumption and production and save fixed capitals of enterprises.
