Robots-couriers go out in a big way

Robots-couriers go out in a big way
Publishedо 2 April, 2019
Estonian innovative company Cleveron announced plans to create robot couriers capable of moving in the flow of cars. The first prototypes are already being tested on the roads of the country.

At the moment the startup Cleveron is a leader in the creation of high-tech parcel terminals and the development of the most optimal "last mile" for retail stores and logistics companies. The latest innovation in this area is a robot with automatic control, which carries out the delivery of parcels on public roads. Unloading of orders is carried out using a high-precision manipulator. Analysis of the robot's movement is performed through GPS-data and beacons.

At the moment, the robot delivers orders to the nearest parcel machine to the client, which eliminates the need to wait for the courier. In the near future, the market will receive personal parcel automats, located directly at the homes of customers.
