The Estonian EAS Found, aimed at increasing the number of exporters with high added value products in the country, has launched the next stage of applying for subsidies for young entrepreneurs. The Fund is supported by the European Commission.

Over the next two years, the European Union will allocate more than two billion euros to Estonia to subsidize young companies working with modern high-tech products and actively introducing new scientific developments into production. It is possible to apply for a grant in the Fund for the promotion of entrepreneurship until September to develop a business plan for up to 50 thousand euros.

To receive a subsidy for the development of production, it is necessary to issue an application with a detailed description of the purpose of the investment (for example, the development of a unique product, market entry with the first prototype, a plan to expand production, etc.). If the application is approved, the companies can expect a grant of almost 2.5 million euros, and in the future this amount can grow to 15 million euros with the assistance of the European Commission.
