Publishedо 21 May, 2019
Recently the Tax and Customs Department of Estonia resumed the work of the personal account of the e-maksuamet/e-toll service with updated functionality.
The innovative environment, allowing to work independently with tax declarations and customs documents without contact with the relevant state bodies, began to develop in 2016. The next stage of modernization was supported in terms of investments by the European regional development Fund in the amount of almost 2 billion euros.
Now you can log in to the service using several identifiers, for example, a smart card of an Estonian citizen or an e-ID of the European regulation eIDAS. Since autumn the option of online communication with representatives of the customs Department, as well as the ability to work with electronic documents, will fully work.
