Estonia exceeded its investment target in 2018

According to the report of the Ministry of economy and communications of Estonia, the volume of investments attracted to the country last year exceeded the established threshold of 150 million euros more than twice.

The distribution of the amounts received from foreign investors was handled by the EAS enterprise development Fund. Thanks to the issued vouchers, about 130 developments and young companies received funding. As a result, nearly 30 companies have completed ongoing projects and launched new products.

Due to the work of EAS, 2018 became the most successful year in terms of the growth of foreign direct investment and the number of new jobs – more than 320 million euros and almost 1,500 vacancies.
