Food exports from Estonia is under threat
Avaldatud 25. 2020.a.
Representatives of the Estonian Parliament say that there is a serious crisis in the production of beverages and food products against the background of the covid-19 pandemic. Further decline in sales may nullify exports to the European Union.

Supply volumes are declining on the background of quarantine measures taken in the EU, an increase in the unemployment rate and a decrease in purchasing power. As a result, the importing countries that are familiar with Estonian goods are switching to their own products, which threatens a serious decline in export supplies and the disappearance of more than 5,000 jobs in Estonia.
