Remote form of work changes the legislative framework

The Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has developed a number of proposals that will make it possible to adjust the Occupational Safety and Health Act and make it more appropriate for working conditions during the covid-19 pandemic.
At the moment, the law defining the relationship between an employee and a company imposes the same requirements on the safety of the organization of the labor process when working in an office or at home. According to ECCI experts, the employer's liability in the case of a remote form should be reduced, as he cannot control this process one hundred percent.
