Border point "Narva-1" will be ready for operation in January 2016

Reconstruction of border points in Narva cost for the European Union and the Estonian state budget almost 9 million EURO. The main objective of the program to expand the checkpoint "Narva-1" and "Narva-2", financed under the cross-border cooperation, is the increaseofcrossing capacity and acceleration of customs services for people and vehicles at checkpoints. 
According to Project Manager, the second phase of reconstruction of the checkpoint "Narva-1" will be completed by the end of January 2016. At present, on the territory of the checkpoint is constructedthe site for trucks. Reconstruction of the checkpoint "Narva-2" has been completed in time, and the object is ready for operation.
