“Gazprom” finally leaves the Baltic states

According to the information portal E-News, the decision to withdraw from the shareholder's structure of the Estonian company “Eesti Gaas” will be taken during the “Gazprom” Board of directors meeting on May 11. Nowadays “Gazprom” holds about 37% of shares of the main gas distributor in Estonia.
After abandoning the markets of Latvia and Lithuania, “Gazprom” company remained the supplier only in one Baltic state - Estonia and delivered 530 million cubic meters of gas in 2015. The decision to withdraw from the shareholder's structure of the Estonian distributor will finally put the company out of the market.
