Avaldatud 16. juuli 2018.a.
From today, Estonian enterprises will have more opportunities for independent participation in specialized exhibitions. The state plans to provide grants of up to 50,000 euros to support business in this matter.
At the moment, EAS - Estonian Entrepreneurship Development Fund - assists in the participation of small and medium businesses at exhibitions within the framework of common national stands. The joint involvement of enterprises helps actively promote the country to new markets. The new government initiative will allow companies to participate in a broader list of fairs, focusing on the specific events in the company's profile. Positive examples are already there - Balsnack, the leader in the production of snacks in Estonia, after participating in the international exhibition Gulfood 2018 first came out with its products on the markets of Malaysia, Egypt, Taiwan.
The project will work for two years, providing financial support for the creation of exhibition stands and transportation of product samples. At the same time, companies can submit joint applications for participation in exhibitions as partners.
