The Ministry of Finance of Estonia is developing rules for the cryptocurrency market

The Ministry of Finance of Estonia has developed a document that should significantly streamline the work with digital money, which now enter the country in significant volumes. The rules have been agreed with the market participants and are awaiting approval from the Ministry of Justice, the Bank of Estonia and other government agencies.

According to the representatives of the Department, the issue of regulation of cryptocurrency is becoming especially relevant in connection with the transition of the calculations of most investors in the field of digital technologies. At the moment, this sector is poorly protected from fraud and illegal transactions. The adoption of the control document should make Estonia even more attractive from the point of view of safe transactions with electronic money.
