The Estonian customs prepares the inhabitants of the country for Brexit
Avaldatud 17. 2019.a.
The Estonian tax and customs Department is preparing residents for a possible exit of the UK from the European Union. A memo explaining the rules for importing goods and parcels to Estonia in the event of Brexit has appeared on the Ministry's website.
Customs officials remind that after the completion of the process, Britain from the point of view of the legislation will move into the category of third countries. Therefore, all goods brought by tourists from Albion, or ordered parcels that exceed the value of the established duty-free limit, will require customs clearance. It will be possible to carry out the declaration independently through the personal account of the electronic service e-MTA.
