Avaldatud 21. jaanuar 2020.a.
The leading electricity supplier in Estonia Eesti Energia has placed a state tender for research in the field of obtaining fuel from household and industrial waste. The main product of the study will be car tires and plastic bottles.

The research will be conducted at the company's own plant Enefit 280 together with the selected contractor, supported by the Archimedes Foundation for technical development and innovation. Specialists will study the recycling process of non-degradable polyethylene waste and tires into liquid fuel, and also evaluate the characteristics of the resulting product.
