The year of the pandemic passed without significant losses

According to official statistics, Estonia managed to avoid a sharp drop in exports last year and even reduce its foreign trade deficit, despite the difficult economic conditions during the covid-19 pandemic.

The decline in the volume of deliveries abroad in the first half of the year, caused by the suspension of a large number of manufacturers, was compensated for in the fourth quarter. The export was based on sophisticated electrical and network equipment, as well as disinfection products that are relevant for everyone.
