Now tourist sites accept people with certificate

The increase in the number of new cases is forcing the government to impose new restrictions in Estonia, which will have a significant impact on tourism infrastructure. Hotels, restaurants and spa complexes can now only provide services to visitors who have a vaccination certificate or a "fresh" test with a negative result.

The owners of the establishments are ready to initiate a process of checking the documents, but they fear a sharp drop in the number of clients, as at the moment only 50% of the adult population has undergone a full vaccination course in the country. In addition, not everyone has the opportunity to constantly pay for testing, and the state does not plan to allocate free kits for small hotels and spa centres yet.
