Estonian border check points will be equipped by new scanning devices

According to the contract made on August 16 between Tax and Customs Board and Nutech company, border check points in Narva, Luhamaa and Koidula will be equipped by new scanning devices worth a total of 12,1 million euros by the end of 2017. 

Installation of new equipment will greatly speed up cargo examination and allow to disclose cargo exclusions. The project is financed by the government budget of Estonia (9,57 million euros) and from EU funds resources.
