Annual cargo turnover of Estonian harbors decreased 10%

According to the cargo turnover statistics, volume of transshipment at harbors of Tallinna Sadam company decreased to 20,1 million tons by 10% in 2016 in comparison with 2015. Against the backdrop of the increase in volumes of bulk and rolling cargo, the volume of liquid cargo transshipment dropped by 26% that is the main part of cargo turnover at Tallinn harbor and the key reason of indices decline.
The transshipment of container freight decreased by 3%. According to the projections of experts, in 2017 the cargo turnover at Estonian harbors will remain the same at the level of 20 million tons.Source - www.baltic-course.com
