Veterinary department should know about all dead birds

Department of veterinary and food control in Estonia encourages the citizens to inform about all birds found dead, resulting from the spread of dangerous veterinarian disease called influenza type H5N8 on the territory of Europe. People should inform the veterinary centres about unusual deaths of wild birds or poultry, and also their massive losses if 10 or more species were found dead in one place.

Bird influenza type H5N8 is no danger to people, however, it’s an enormous danger to birds. The spread of the disease among poultry can cause serious problems for the agricultural sector of the country.
