China will become a new export market for the Baltic States
Avaldatud 21. marts 2017.a.

Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, despite the difficulties with the sales geography, develop the market of China as a new export partner. Two exporting companies, Vilkyskiu pienine and Rokiskio suris, supply dairy products to China since the beginning of 2017. Negotiations for grain and beef supplies from Lithuania to China are under way. The possibility to set up new Lithuanian industrial enterprises in China is discussed.

Estonia plans to enter the Chinese market only in the beginning of the next year. At the present moment China is the most promising export partner for all Baltic countries. According to experts, it will be impossible to restore the export volumes which existed before the loss of the Russian market by the Baltic states. But the new export direction can have a positive impact on the economic growth of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
