Estonian GDP statistics published for the first quarter of 2017

Statistics for the first quarter of this year continues to please the government and citizens of Estonia. The GDP index of the country was published: it increased by 4,4% for the year. This is the fastest growth over the past five years, which is twice more the average GDP growth in the European Union.
Export, ratio of which in gross product is 80%, made the main contribution to the high GDP index. Almost all export is made to the EU countries, particularly the flow of Estonian goods and services increased in Germany, Holland and Finland. Estonian exports increased by 12% in fixed prices over the year.
